As one of the busiest international airports in the world, JFK Airport required a design approach that seamlessly blended durability, sophistication, and high-traffic efficiency. Spazi Design Inc. was entrusted with a large-scale flooring installation in Terminal 1 and the design and outfitting of private airport lounges in Terminal 4, ensuring a seamless balance between aesthetic appeal and functional resilience.
Our Approach: Elevating the Passenger Experience
For Terminal 1, our focus was on durability and performance, installing 20,000 yards of carpet and 19,000 square feet of VCT flooring designed to withstand heavy foot traffic while maintaining a polished, professional look. In Terminal 4, we created exclusive private airport lounges offering an oasis of comfort and luxury within a 500,000-square-foot facility. Our team meticulously designed and outfitted these spaces, ensuring an elevated passenger experience with a refined ambiance and premium materials.
